I am Dr. Naimatullah Akbari, an Afghan national and professional trainer working for the last 30 years. Training and capacity building, including curriculum and module development, and facilitation of training workshops, seminars, and courses for different levels of staff, including middle and top-level managers, are the main areas of responsibility during this period. I have attended around 90 training courses and professional meetings in 22 countries around the world. I have attended several TOT and master training courses conducted by IFC, USAID, Institute of Rural Management Pakistan, Pakistan Institute of Management Lahore, and other national and international organizations. I have managed a regional training center in the southwest of Afghanistan, served two years as training program coordinator of an Afghan NGO (IbnSina), and led the Aga Khan Human Resource Development program in Afghanistan (Aga Khan Health Services-AKHS-A). I led the professional and senior management team in Afghan NGO-AFGA as CEO and Organization development expert for eight years (2006-2014). Currently, I am leading a consultancy firm, Afghan Horizon Consultancy Services (AHCS), providing training and capacity building in health, management, proposal writing, and other development subjects to UN, national and international organizations.
