Looie is a culture and gender advocate. She is an IFC consultant supporting the Gender and Economic Inclusion Group. Her professional experience covers a ten-year international banking career in the Philippines, Indonesia, and the UK, handling product, program management, and client relationships. She is a social entrepreneur, having co-founded Linea Etnika Inc., an artisanal heritage brand enabling the weaving industry in the Philippines to flourish.

She leverages her effective communication, organization, collaboration, marketing, and leadership skills in her professional endeavors. She continuously seeks to upgrade herself and has been gaining more experience in the field of training.

Looie graduated from the Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines with a Masters in Business Management degree. She is an alumna of De La Salle University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in commerce and business management degree.
