Mr. Wickremeratne loves storytelling, writing, and mentoring. He strongly and passionately believes in participatory learning, development, and work; he values excellence, hard work, vision, and goals. Understand life as a journey - a journey of relationships learning and growing. The desire for training comes from the core understanding that skills, potential, and talents harnessed and developed will enable people to enhance their potential - a never-ending journey. Love to see others grow and outperform my thinking, reasoning, logic, and understanding of life. Mr. Wickremeratne considers his role as a father to be the most impactful and relevant journey in training, mentoring coaching exercises ever undertaken in life.
Mr. Wickremeratne sees his role in life and career as a thinker and has been used mostly by people, corporates for their projects, strategies, vision casting, and design.
Stimulated with problem-solving opportunities, with a firm conviction that the best is yet to come in situations. Lalinda involved in various fixed and assignment-based consultancies and training for various organizations as a trainer with multi-dimensional experience gained in a journey of over 12 years in the corporate sector involved in management, training, banking, and a further 15 years in training and program management in the world of social and human development.
Lalinda facilitated various training all over the country for the past twenty years with an extremely robust knowledge of the local setting, different groups, and working methodologies. The most recent training in 2020 was conducted for an IFC project in delivering business management training to small and medium modern trades in several parts of the country and training for an EU project on business plan development. Other training areas include personality development, MBTI and DISC, communication, time management, leadership, management, customer service, visioning, child protection and development, gender, proposals and LFA design, monitoring frameworks, board development, active citizenship for social enterprises, business development, financial management. Lalinda conducted limited training in Bangladesh, the Philippines, and Australia.
Mr. Wickremeratne has a passion for developing business plans with over 120 business plans developed in 2019-2020 for small and medium entrepreneurs and enterprises. Exceptional language skills in Sinhala and English with the ability to train in both languages.
