I am Deepa Bandara, trainer and consultant to inspire and empower people by designing, developing, and delivering tools and techniques to build talents and confidence. I especially aim to guide and mentor females in professional and business acmes to unleash their full potential. I specialize in the micro, small, and medium enterprise development field. I have more than 18 years of working experience.

Courses followed:
- Successfully completed the Training of Trainers workshop on FMCG sector distributor training conducted by IFC and IGC in 2020.
- Successfully completed and passed IFC- LPI TPMA Certification.
- Certified completed SIYB trainer of ILO-Start and Improve Your Business program of SIYB Associal Sri Lanka IFC- LPI foundation course.
- Trained as a facilitator of Social Enterprise development under the EU funded Enterprise project implemented by British Council, Sri Lanka.
- Acquired practical training to teach Business English from the Headway Institution (Dyned English) and British Council.
- Common European Framework of Reference for Language Teaching. (CEFR).
- Trained as a LOCA facilitator of Local Competitive Advantage approach on Local Economic Development and Value Chain Development. Completed the fieldwork related to this approach, becoming an active facilitator of local economic development. ILO Project.
- Certified Completed SIYB trainer of ILO-Start and Improve Your Business program of SIYB Association Sri Lanka.
- Successfully completed and passed RBM Result Based impact monitoring system course.
- Successfully completed and passed Quality Management System Training Courses conducted by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) Sri Lanka.
- Trained to conduct Competency Based Training for the youth (CBT).

From the year 2000 up to now, I have gained valuable experience empowering different groups, MSMEs, farmers, school students, and entrepreneurs in different sectors. I am a trainer and facilitator with IGC Institute of Growth Concept, a working entity with IFC. In addition, I am a freelance trainer. I also work with many economic development projects such as World Vision Lanka, ILO, JAICA, SwissContact, Central Banks Projects, EU funded projects, Plan Sri Lanka, Financial Sector banks, etc., and have shown good results.

I am setting a good practical example to society by working with my husband as a co-trainer to deliver social mobilization and many domestic management and economic development programs. We have proven records of helping people change to realize their life goals.
