I believe the future of the global African community lies in its leaders playing a more pivotal and direct role in the continent’s advancement. For me, that begins with self-leadership, taking personal responsibility for where we are as individual countries on the continent, concerning ourselves with the welfare of the African people spread across the world, and being mindful in how we relate to ourselves and others around us.
By providing high-level coaching support to leaders who serve the continent and its people, and by fostering a meaningful partnership with like-minded individuals who are driven by the vision of seeing Africa optimized, I envision an Africa that takes care of its own without the need for further exploitation masked as foreign aid.
I believe genuine social impact investments are the better way to go for Africa’s development; investments that are not geared toward projects that reward mental and physical laziness but rather encourage exponential innovations in the private and public sectors.
The positive benefits of coaching as a vital tool to help African leaders meet the business and personal challenges they face on a day-to-day basis cannot be overstated.
As technology makes our world smaller, leaders of fast-growing African and African-owned enterprises must be equipped to meet the demands of global competition while grappling with exponential technologies.
A certified executive, global leadership, and team coach, I support my clients in formulating and implementing strategies, improving team dynamics, and changing unhealthy behaviors that negatively affect leadership performance, all with the aim of creating exponential results.
I have high-level experience in job readiness and employability skills; research, gender mainstreaming, livelihood and agriculture, land rights, business development, and environmental conservation; program development and project management, with expertise in feasibility studies, needs and impact assessments, training, design, planning, baseline to end-line evaluation, including managing and analyzing data for private enterprises, institutions of higher learning, government agencies, and international organizations such as UNDP, UNICEF, UNCHR, UNOPS, USAID, AfDB, IFC, Word of Life, UNESCO, Cadena Int'l Development Project, etc.
I am a multi-skilled professional with extensive experience leading teams and managing development projects involving organizational capacity assessment and capacity building of high-level staff for maximum impact in government agencies and small and medium enterprises. The main focus areas have been leadership and governance, financial management and sustainability, policy planning and implementation, operational efficiency, strategic planning, resilience building, marketing, communications, and advocacy. My leadership methods combine self-diagnostic exercises, peer-learning, experience sharing, training, and coaching.
