Rachel Kiraithe has been a senior business banker with Co-operative Bank in Kenya for over 10 years. Co-operative Bank is one of the top tier 3 banks in Kenya, in terms of profitability, customer, and asset base, and one of its main focuses is growing micro, small, and medium enterprises, individual and corporate organizations, by empowering them through training on business management skills and availing financing.

She is a college graduate with a bachelor of commerce degree from Kenyatta University in Kenya. She is also a certified Trainer of Trainers by International Financial Corporation currently training MSMEs on entrepreneurship, business management skills, and personal development skills. She is also a certified relationship manager by ICCSP (International Conference on Communication and Signal Processing).

She has been certified by Co-operative Bank Leadership and Management Centre as a business banker and has been accredited for training and growing over 300 MSMEs from micro-enterprises to small and medium Enterprises. She has empowered them with knowledge on financial literacy, business management skills, mastering customer service essentials, customer confrontation management and conflict resolution.

She has also been involved in recommending them for financing by financial institutions. She coaches them, and monitors risk in their business performance until all the loans granted to them are paid off, and recommends them for higher financing due to the excellent performance of their businesses. She also offers them consultation on the right financing products to take up, to optimize their business performance.

Rachel is an outgoing vibrant person, always carrying an aura of positivity and a ‘can-make-it ’ attitude around her. She loves inspiring people to develop the best versions of their lives and to optimize their lives fully, by working hard and pursuing knowledge to succeed.

In her free time, Rachel loves singing, reading inspirational and self-development books, and watching documentaries.
