Dr. Jayasundara is a multi-skilled professional with over three decades of varied local and global experience in education, supply chain management, training of trainers, capacity building, career guidance, business management, business entrepreneurial for SMEs, human resources management, leadership management, customer relations management in Botswana, Kenya, Malaysia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Sri Lanka.

She was a recipient of the "Appreciation Award," given in recognition of her exceptional contribution to society at the Genre of Excellence, Professional and Career Women Awards 2013/2014, organized by Women in Management (WIM).

Priyangani works as a part-time training consultant, material developer, facilitator, and internationally accredited trainer for the International Trade Centre (ITC), a joint agency of UNO, and Business Edge Trainer for the International Financial Corporation (IFC) – World Bank Group. She is also a materials/curriculum developer for various organizations.

She was a visiting lecturer at the University of Moratuwa, Kothalawala Defence University, and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). Presently, she is working as a visiting lecturer for Ocean University, NSBM Green University, Institute of Supply & Materials Management (ISMM), and Colombo Institute of Logistics Management (CILM) and works as an educational, management, and training consultant for a variety of organizations.

Known to positively influence people and add value to their capabilities with excellent customer engagement standards, Priyangani holds a Doctorate in Management, an MBA in Human Resources Development, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She is a Fellow of the ISMM and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation (CILT), UK, Life Member of the Organization of Professional Association (OPA), and the Institute of Quality and Productivity Management (IQPM).

She is sharing her knowledge and expertise in many different forums in the government and private sector as an advisor, facilitator, and consultant for representing the Organization of Professional Association of Sri Lanka (OPA) in the National Career Guidance Steering Committee at the Tertiary Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).
