A professional individual who is passionate about women empowerment in the MSME sector who has 22 years of hands-on experience in Business Development, Entrepreneurship Development, coaching and mentoring on MSMEs. My goal in life is to enrich my training experience globally and use my knowledge and positive attitudes towards MSMEs for the sector to achieve a sustainable growth with increased women presence ultimately contributing to the country’s economic upturn.


Primrose Ranasinghe is an eligible trainer in entrepreneurship skill development. she has specialties in holding and conducting Business Societies/Implementation of Micro Finance, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Attitude Development, Preparation of project reports, Women Enterprenurship, Entrepreneurship Development. She is experienced in working diverse multi-skilled, age and cultural teams and time bound & result oriented culture. She has tremendous presentation and training skills in the ground of entrepreneurship development with a broad understanding of current small and micro business .

Primropse Ranasinghe is currently a Certified Trainer – IGC – MSME Development project in Sri Lanka carried out by CBL and IFC(2021), She worked as aTrainer - Small Enterprises Development Division (SEDD) in the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sri Lanka, 1999- 2021 . Currently she is working as an Assistant Director of Planing Service in SL since 2009. Also she used to work as a Certified Trainer in SIYB Association under International Labor Organization. She is also a certified Business Consultant under the CMI institute of UK. She is holding Master of Business Administration (MBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics and B.Com. (Special) Degree in University of Ruhuna.
Primrose Ranasinghe is experienced in participating Micro and Small Business Implementation (2016), Monash University Australia, Australia awards fellowships program for the public servants in Sri Lanka – 2016, Monash University, Facilitating Women Entrepreneurship Development in Sri Lanka: Moving beyond Micro Business.
