Training professional with extensive banking experience in corporate credit, SME financing, microfinance, and business banking; developed and conducted a number of banking training programs on `Credit Risk Analysis’, `Credit Risk Evaluation’, and `SME Banking Growth Potentials’ to the bank officers of several commercial banks, development banks and cooperatives of Nepal.
Work Experience:
• Worked for 32 years in Nabil Bank Limited, Nepal in various key positions such as senior relationship manager of the business banking; head of the SME, mid-corporate & microfinance; chief corporate officer (CCO) / AGM-corporate & infrastructure.
• Facilitated a number of banking training programs on `Credit Risk Evaluation’, `Credit Risk Analysis’ and `SME Business Growth Potentials’ to the officers of several commercial banks, development banks, and cooperatives of Nepal independently as well as on behalf of National Banking Institute Limited (NBI), Kathmandu, Nepal as an independent resource person/trainer.
• Visiting teaching faculty in a leading management college of Nepal namely Apex College, for the subjects, credit risk management, banking operation management, microfinance, and principles of management.
• Expert director in the board of directors of General Insurance Company Limited, Kathmandu, Nepal.
• Previously held a position as a director in the board of directors of the two leading microfinance institutions of Nepal namely Nirdhan Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Sana Kishan Bikash Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.
