Ashraf G. Shenouda is an Egyptian/Canadian Professional & an IFC-certified master trainer. In business for more than 25 years providing Consultancy, Training, and coaching for corporates, banks, and MSMEs clients ranging from FMCGs, ICT, banking, telecommunications, and consumer durables to industrial products. Among my clients: International Finance Corporation - a member of the World Bank Group, the Arab Bank, ABC Bank, SODIC - Solidere - the largest real estate developer in the region, Digicel - Largest mobile operator in the Pacific, Orange - Largest mobile operator, Alcatel mobiles, SABIC - Largest Industrial organization in KSA, Shamsy Group – textile and RMG manufacturer in Egypt, Natpack - a leader in plastic packaging, Swiss Paints - a leader in the paint business, Dockland - an IFC Client in the ready-made garments, 'Digicel' the largest mobile operator in the Pacific and many others.

Ashraf co-authored the SME governance toolkit with the 'IFC Knowledge Management Team' in Washington DC and successfully piloted it in Bangladesh with the SME Funds and the investee companies. He also contributed to revising the Egyptian and Yemeni codes of SMEs Governance.

Based on Ashraf's recommendation to the IFC, he designed and piloted a development plan for Master Trainer Candidates (MTC) to prepare them for a one-time assessment en route to certification. The MTC development proved its effectiveness and has been approved to be the formal development plan for MTCs. Since then, Ashraf has acquired the Master Trainer Developer title on a global level.

Ashraf is a co-founder and a Lead Board member for the National Egyptian Development Association; an NGO with a mission of improving employability through bridging the gap between education and evolving market requirements.
