Ms. Abena Otu is the managing director of the Ghanaian consulting company "EDC Consulting Ltd.", and has over 20 years of work experience in that industry. Ms. Abena holds a Master of Science degree in entrepreneurial studies from the University of Stirling with a specialization in women's entrepreneurship.

Her goal is to help women entrepreneurs become successful by addressing gender-related issues, while at the same time providing:

· Entrepreneurship and management advisory and counseling services as a certified International Finance Corporation (IFC) Business Edge trainer;

· Business advocacy training and advisory services as a certified Business Advocacy Challenge Fund (BUSAC) service provider and trainer;

· Export/enterprise management advisory services as a certified International Trade Center (ITC) Export /Enterprise Management Development (EMD) advisor;

· Export management training as a certified ITC ACCESS trainer;

· Master Craftsperson’s training in Competency-Based Training (CBT), In-Company Training, and Entrepreneurship Training as a Council for Technical and Vocational Education (COTVET), and Ghana Skills Development Initiative as a national master trainer;

· Counseling, coaching, and advisory services in small enterprise development.
