Sandra Onojetah is a passionate educator, trainer, and writer with extensive experience in advancing literacy and education across Nigeria and around the world. A graduate of the University of Ilorin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Language, she is a certified ACE Supervisor, Early Years Certified Teacher, Microsoft Certified Educator, and TPMA Trainer and TEFL certified teacher whose expertise enriches learning experiences for students and educators alike.
Sandra currently serves as the Head of Teachers at Reconcilers Children Academy, where she oversees curriculum development, supervises Early Years staff training, and supports language learners through innovative teaching methods. Her leadership extends to Lavie Learns, a learning center she established to facilitate reading classes, offer supplementary lessons for elementary school pupils, and host engaging virtual book club meetings. As part of her dedication to literacy, Sandra founded the LITTLE LIBRARY project, a community library initiative for children, and co-hosts the annual BOOK Hangout, both of which have had a transformative impact on her community.
Her professional expertise includes exceptional skills in translation and interpretation, with proficiency in both French and English, and a talent for making complex concepts accessible to learners of all levels. Sandra's commitment to leadership development is evident through her work as a Fellow with One Million Leaders in Africa, where she has trained individuals on leadership skills and supervised community-based projects. Earlier in her career, she served as Secretary to the Head of UNESCO in Porto Novo, excelling in document management, scheduling, and administrative functions.
Sandra is also a prolific author, having written Nation, a thought-provoking book emphasizing the importance of children to society. Through her projects, she continues to inspire and empower the next generation of African leaders, fostering both academic and personal growth. Her work is a testament to her unwavering belief in the transformative power of education and leadership.
She is married to Theophilus Onojetah, and they are blessed with three lovely children.
