Daniel Luzinda is a highly skilled and accomplished business executive with extensive experience in finance, banking, and corporate strategy. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and Applied Economics as well as a Master’s degree in Computer Science (Information Systems) from Makerere University in Uganda. In addition, Daniel holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (Leadership and Sustainability) from the University of Cambria in the United Kingdom.
After completing his education, Daniel began his career in finance, working for several leading financial institutions in East Africa. He started his career at Standard Chartered Bank Uganda, where he worked as a business integration manager and later as head of solution delivery. During his time at Standard Chartered, Daniel gained valuable experience in customer service, sales, solutions, credit analysis, and relationship management.
In 2010, Daniel joined Standard Chartered Bank Singapore, where he worked as an associate director, where he oversaw the development and implementation of payment and cash management solutions for corporate clients in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
In 2012, Daniel moved to Citibank Singapore in the Transaction and Treasury Services (TTS), responsible for driving the bank's transaction banking business and ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions to clients.
In 2016, Daniel joined Stanbic Bank Uganda as the head of cash management services, where he is responsible for driving the bank's transaction banking business and delivering innovative solutions, including the platform business model to clients across the region.
Throughout his career, Daniel has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on delivering exceptional results. He is a highly respected member of the East African banking community and has received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to the industry. Daniel is also a passionate advocate for financial inclusion and works to promote access to banking services for underserved communities.
