Mbugua is the lead consultant at Uza Ubora Consultants, a business and management consulting firm with an emphasis on coaching and training. He has 25 years of combined experience in management, business development, consulting, retail, sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

He holds a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Botany and Zoology from the University of Nairobi Kenya, a Master of Business Administration, Strategic management from the Henley Business School UK. a diploma in business management Henley Business School UK, certificate in principles of marketing from the Marketing Society of Kenya.

Mbugua is passionate about the entrepreneurial development of young men and women and loves to coach these budding entrepreneurs. He is a trained coach and a Member of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) and the Estate Agents Registration Board (EARB).
