Obafemi is an ICF - certified coach with a master's degree in international business from the University of Bradford, UK, and EM Lyon, France. He also holds a first degree from the University of Lagos in industrial relations & personnel management. He is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personal Development UK (CIPD) and a certified global professional in HR (GPHR).

Obafemi is a learning and development expert, business trainer, and coach with over 16 years of experience in training and human resources in sectors such as insurance, banking, and finance. His other areas of specialization include people and HR analytics, business strategy and planning, recruitment, strategic change management, leadership, project management, talent management, instructional design, and facilitation.

He is happily married with two sons.
