I have a wealth of experience in the financial sector having worked with Absa Bank Kenya PLC for 26 years. I operated as a control assurance manager, branch manager, operations manager, customer team leader, and marketing executive. I gained a wealth of experience and skills in internal audit, risk assessment, governance and controls, financial planning, stakeholder management, quality assurance, people management, customer service management, portfolio management, performance, facilitation, and training skills. I am a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and occasionally facilitate training in addition to being an international peer reviewer of manuscripts with the International Journal of Research and Innovation in Social Sciences (IJRISS).

From 2021 to date, I have supported the family business as a co-director during staff recruitment, training farmers on bankable business proposals and financial skills courtesy of a USAID grant to the business. The training of MSMEs had over 200 participants through the Jiinue Growth program MSME training at the county chamber chapters facilitated by KNCCI (Kenya National Chamber of Commerce Industries). Between May to July 2024, I operated as a technical assistant for Kakamega County doing capacity building for fish farmers in twelve sub-counties which was done under the ABDP (Aquaculture Business Development) Program supported by IFAD and the government of Kenya.

I am SIYB (Start and Improve Your Business) trained and am currently marketing the program during capacity building and training opportunities.
