A financial management specialist with over 20 years of national and international professional experience, Tânia served as a general manager at Bongás. In this role, she was responsible for reporting company performance to shareholders, driving business strategies and planning, and overseeing financial and operational controls. She also managed human resources for a team of 42 employees. Additionally, she worked in the banking sector at Banco Procredit, where her responsibilities included leading a team of 55 people, managing purchasing and procurement for the entire bank, centrally distributing all acquired assets across branches, monitoring operations across all departments, and controlling and approving purchased materials. Throughout her career, Tânia has worked across commercial management, human resources, strategic planning, logistics, quality management, and event management.

In 2016, she founded TCA e Serviços, Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda, a management, financial, training, and consulting firm that organizes and evaluates clients' administrative and financial operations with a strategic vision and provides training in finance, ISO 9001:2015, audit, admin, and procurement procedures.
