Iftikhar Ali Memon is a seasoned development professional with more than 12 years of experience in project management, enterprise development, livelihoods enhancement, entrepreneurship training, digital literacy, and community capacity building across Pakistan. He has extensive experience working with youth, smallholder farmers, women entrepreneurs, rural SMEs, teachers, and marginalized communities to improve employability, financial inclusion, business skills, and income-generating opportunities.
Currently serving as Manager Projects and Business Development at Empowerment Thru Creative Integration (ECI) Pvt. Ltd., Iftikhar has led and implemented numerous donor-funded initiatives in partnership with organizations including SMEDA, UNDP, Oxfam, BRSP, Islamic Relief Pakistan, Community World Services Asia (CWSA), RDF, Better Cotton, DAI, ILO, and ITC. His expertise spans enterprise development, agribusiness, SME competitiveness, youth engagement, social cohesion, digital skills, and financial literacy programs.
As a lead trainer and mentor, he has successfully designed and delivered large-scale training and Training of Trainers (ToT) programs across Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, and KP. His areas of specialization include entrepreneurship development, agribusiness management, digital marketing, freelancing, proposal writing, leadership, communication, financial literacy, and market linkages. He has also contributed to the development of multilingual training curricula and mentorship frameworks to strengthen learning outcomes and sustainable impact.
Iftikhar has significant experience managing livelihood recovery and economic empowerment projects for vulnerable populations, including flood-affected communities, Afghan refugee youth, women home-based workers, and religious minority groups. His work focuses on building resilience, promoting inclusive development, and creating sustainable economic opportunities through skills development and entrepreneurship support.
He is recognized for his strong facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and community engagement skills, with proven ability to work effectively with government institutions, donor agencies, NGOs, and local communities.
