Saleem Jahangir
Trainer
Saleem Jahangir is a development professional with over 29 years of experience in program management, curriculum design, capacity building, and enterprise development across Pakistan and international contexts. Currently serving as Managing Director at Empowerment through Creative Integration (ECI) Pvt Ltd since 2013, he has led large-scale interventions in youth empowerment, digital skills, gender and social inclusion, financial literacy, and SME development in collaboration with leading organizations such as UNDP, GIZ, IFC, FAO, ITC, SMEDA, IOM, and the World Bank. His expertise includes designing and implementing training programs, managing multi-district projects, and leading teams for livelihood, entrepreneurship, and value chain development initiatives.
Throughout his career, Saleem Jahangir has worked extensively as a master trainer, instructional designer, and team lead, delivering more than 10,000 youth trainings and numerous enterprise development and financial literacy programs across Pakistan. He has specialized experience in gender-responsive programming, digital and e-commerce skills, and climate-resilient livelihoods, with a strong focus on women’s economic empowerment and social inclusion. His work spans curriculum development, ToT design, SME competitiveness, and community-based interventions, contributing to sustainable livelihood improvements and institutional capacity building at scale.
