Mr. Mian Amoakon has completed an MBA at “Université du Québec à Montréal” in Canada. He is specialist in agricultural value chain crosscutting issues with particular focus on Farmer Organizations. He has over 17 years’ experience in programme management and capacity building activities with expertise in rural development. He has been responsible for various projects to strengthen the capacities of cooperatives, mainly in the cocoa sector, eg: the Sustainable Tree Crops Programme (STCP), the Cocoa Livelihoods Program (CLP), etc. Since 2014, Mr. Mian Amoakon is the director for Côte d'Ivoire of GeoTraceability, a firm specializing in the development of technology applied to the agricultural sector to substantially increase the income of farmers based on information technologies.
