Martin is currently a managing director for Afri-Consult, a management consulting firm in Accra Ghana established in 2011. Prior to that Martin was the consulting leader at Deloitte Ghana. He has been with Deloitte Consulting for over 19 years and was charged with the responsibility of providing direction for information and communications technology initially for the Ghana practice and subsequently for Deloitte in the East African Region. Martin has acquired a wealth of experience in developing and implementing ICT systems on Deloitte Consulting projects within Africa.

Martin has led initiatives to develop and implement business strategies as well as strategies for ICT in the government sector. He was involved in developing the ICT policy for Ghana and Kenya. In Ghana he supported the team, which was putting together the first e-government strategy towards implementation. Martin also supported the Kenyan government to develop an ICT strategy and concept paper that would lead to the development of ICT in the East African region.

His experience also spans the area of business strategies and helping corporate enterprises work efficiently and make profits. His project management skills have enabled him successfully implement not only strategy, but business improvement and ICT projects for several organisations and industries.

Martin was also responsible for the development of training for consulting in Deloitte Africa Region. He is an accredited Deloitte facilitator, and delivers train the trainer sessions dubbed facilitating for DTT. He is certified in the use of the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) assessment tool. Martin has a BSc in Computer Science, and is a member of the Project Management Institute.
