Edward Luyombya is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT). He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR) and is holder of Bachelor's degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (UK). He has undergone a series of training and facilitation coaching from the International Finance Corporation. He is also an IFC-certified trainers’ assessor.

Edward is more than an ordinary traditional accountant. He is a focused value adding professional of the current business edge with an accumulated progressive experience of over 15 years in business advisory, financial advisory, capacity building, accounting, auditing and others. Edward is an entrepreneur and serves on a number of boards in Uganda.

Edward has supported a number of entities to set-up and sprout into big profitable entities. Being an expert in developing feasibility studies and business plans, he intervenes at the inception/planning stage of businesses to start with proper structuring all through (legal, financial, operational and strategy). He then continues to offer support during the implementation by building capacity through developing systems (developing accounting/financial manuals, governance and monitoring and reporting), offering interactive training and coaching. He structures the business capital and helps to raise the required funding (both equity and debt).
