Richard Bradock Nyirinkwaya, MBA, has been a trainer of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group, since 2010. He has more than 10 years experience as a trainer. In 2010, he delivered back office operations training to 10 staff of Central Bank of Tanzania. In 2012-2013, he delivered business plan development trainingas part of the the Hanga Umurimo Program of the Ministry of Commerce in Rwanda. In 2014, he delivered business plan development training to staff of the Ministry of Commerce in Rwanda. In 2015 - 2017, he worked as an enterprise training manager with Digital Opportunity Trust, a Canadian organization. He delivered business model canvas to 5,047 youth around the country in Rwanda. Today he is working with Futurite STEM Rwanda as a business development and entrepreneurship consultant. He delivered business development training to youth with support from the Government of Rwanda through incubation program and GIZ.

Richard has a social enterprise called Back Home Opportunity Network (BHON). He trains youth who graduated from universities in Rwanda and supports them to create social enterprises. He is in charge of saving scheme process. He conducts the following workshops: 1) social enterprise governance; 2) Christian ethics in country development & strategic plan; 3) business plan; 4) business management (Including financial management, accounting management, human resources management, taxes and e-payment); 5) operations & supply management; 6) digital marketing, and 7) presentation skills.

Richard is a holder of master’s degree (MBA) in project management from Creydon University, Adelaide, Australia in partnership with Academie des Sciences Africaines (ASCAF) Bujumbura, Burundi; and a bachelor’s degree (BBA) in human resources management from Kigali Institute of Science, Technology and Management (KIST).

He is a certified trainer of Rwanda Institute of Cooperative, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance. He is also a certified trainer of Private Sector (PSF), Rwanda.

He has been working as a consultant trainer with international and local consulting firms, such as JIPAC-South Africa, Kenya Institute of Management, Sorwaffa Ltd, CBS, Futurite STEM Rwanda, Project supported by Compassion International, National Industrial Research and Development Agency.

Richard is a passionate trainer, known for his commitment and a hard work. He is able to travel around the country and outside Rwanda to deliver training in business development, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, marketing management, financial management, business management and human resource management. He is always ready to fly to any place to deliver training to support community in the business development. Up until now, Richard has supported more than 247 businesses to help them start, create jobs for youth and expand.
