Clarisse is a senior agribusiness development manager with a demonstrated history of working in the banking and agricultural industry. She is skilled in rural and agricultural development, financial risk, risk management, financial analysis, agribusiness management and financial inclusion. Clarisse is a strong financial professional with a BSc in Agribusiness management focused on agribusiness/ agribusiness business operations.

Clarisse is currently pursuing a post graduate degree in agribusiness and trade as well as a diploma in Islamic banking and finance. She has 17 years of experience working with MSMEs, farmer producer organisations and small holder farmers.

Clarisse has worked in the largest banks of East and Central Africa, namely KCB Bank Group and Equity Bank group, as well as United Bank for Africa and KWFT, the largest micro-finance bank in Kenya.

She has been a trainer for National Government Agribusiness officers, agribusiness loan officers in various banks and micro-finance banks regionally, farmer producer management and boards, women and youth groups.

Clarisse has written proposals leading to funding for various financial activities and kitties/guarantees such as the IFC, MasterCard foundation and AGRA.
