Frederick Eshun is an inter-disciplinary development expert specializing in economics, WASH, statistics, and social studies. He is an IFC-LPI certified trainer. He holds a Master of Philosophy in Economics degree with a specialization in international, monetary, and public sector economics, which is coupled with his knowledge in WASH and sociology. Mr. Eshun possesses a very high level of critical thinking and excellent analytical and writing skills. He is an alumnus of the Association of Economic Research Consortium (AERC) based in Nairobi, Kenya. He has had over 8 years of experience in Research and Development (R&D) in program and policy formulation and survey management. In the past five years, he provided extensive research support to the Center for Economic and Social Policy Analysis (CESPA) that includes, among others being, the data analysis for the impact study on Sierra Leone Community-Driven Development (SLCDD) implemented by NaCSA with funding from IDB.

In addition, Frederick also provided support to baseline studies, M&E systems, project implementation manual, and the design of a database. He has conducted numerous training on M&E and MIS for NaCSA, MAFFS, GIZ on the project linking farmers to the market; WASH for Water resources, and GUMA, Mott MacDonald. He has conducted several training sessions on qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, and information management. He has developed skills in survey sampling, questionnaire design, use of CAPI for digital data collection and also uses a wide range of software applications, such as Stata, SPSS, EVIEWS, CSPro, EPI Info, NVIVO, and open-source data collection tools, such as Akvo flow, ODK, and Kobocollect, etc.
