Managing Director/CEO of Wickburn Foreign Exchange Bureau and Wickburn Services & Consultancy and responsible for the company’s performance as a whole. Under the supervision of the board, she is ultimately responsible for devising and developing business strategies and plans, ensuring objectives are being met, providing client focused solutions and leading and motivating staff for a productive environment.
She has worked as a consultant for various companies and donors in Sierra Leone and abroad including UN, World Bank/IFC, ILO, GIZ, Aquanet Services UK and Alzheimer’s Society UK.
She is an Associate Consultant and Chair at Parnell Kerr Foster (PKF) Mason Hill Sierra Leone. As an Associate at PKF Mason Hill, she advises on Financial Management, Project Management, new Market Strategies, Business Planning and Corporate Finance.
An experienced SME and Marketing Specialist with a strong Finance background having worked in the UK for many years as a Senior Finance and Accounting specialist.
She was the Project Co-ordinator and Business Counsellor of UNIDO’S Entrepreneurship Development and Investment Programme from 2008-2015, a programme she was instrumental in setting up and developing in Sierra Leone.
She has a keen interest in empowering business people with the right skills especially women and youth. She advises, mentors and coaches many women associations and businesses.
She is also a board member of Business Professional Women Freetown (BPW) affiliate of BPW International one of the most influential international network of business and professional women.
Antonia was an Associate Lecturer in Marketing at the Institute of Public Administration and Management, University of Sierra Leone and taught final year and MBA students. She also worked as a Consultant for the World Bank, IFC, Nathan EME UK on investment and export promotion, Tourism, SME Toolkit and other business development services.
She has worked on Projects that include Reducing Barriers to investment In Sierra Leone, conservation policies on Tourism, Assessment of Business Development Services In Sierra Leone amongst others.
She has also written a Training Manual on Artisanal Fishing and Post-harvest losses, Marketing manual for the horticultural sector and a Development paper on Tourism.
As a certified trainer and Business Counsellor, she has covered courses in areas including Entrepreneurship, Personal Development,Leadership Development, Financial Management and Performance Management.
