Abeba holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, concentration in Management from the Strayer University, USA; a Diploma in Digital Money by The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a certified Neighborhood lender By BoA (Bank of America).

Abeba is a senior banking expert with over thirty years of management, supervisory, consulting and operational experiences, and worked in various leadership positions in Bank of America, and Wells Fargo in USA, and Africa. She has extensive experiences in emerging, fragile sub Saharan African in financial inclusion of women, SME incubation, and acceleration; valued mentor to junior executives with contagious positive attitude and commitment to modeling highest operational ethics and client services. She was the Director of the Women Bank in Ethiopia before founding a social Enterprise “SHE Impact Hub”.

Abeba is the V/P of AWEP (Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs Program Ethiopia Chapter that focuses in empowering women in business, and a member of the Africa List since 2018. Abeba’s objective is to support poverty eradication through economic, and social development of economically vulnerable people, especially young women and men.
