Sola is a certified coach and trainer. Building on his previous careers — firstly as a senior civil servant with oversight for state-owned enterprises and then as an international banker — over the past 10 years, he has developed considerable experience and expertise both locally and internationally in the area of Board Governance. He has served as either Chairman or non-Executive Director on a range of Boards — from SOEs to commercial banks to international NGOs to start-up IT companies. This extensive hands-on Board experience has helped give him the basis for the design of the various training modules in Board and corporate governance that he regularly delivers to SOE Board members and the senior management staff of SOEs.
