Trainer

Gemunu Wijesena is an independent consultant in private sector development and a management trainer in Sri Lanka. He has a master's degree in business administration, a post-graduate diploma in industrial management, and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. He has completed advanced international training on SME management development at the Linköping University of Sweden. He is a master trainer developer in the ILO SIYB program, a certified lead trainer of GTZ’s CEFE program, and a certified trainer of IFC’s Business Edge program. He has over 28 years of experience in Enterprise Development, including the successful management of three enterprise development projects implemented by the ILO. As a management trainer, he has conducted over 200 seminars for MSMEs and BDS practitioners, over 15 Training of Trainers programs, and over 10 Training of Master Trainers programs. He has completed over 25 consultancies and training assignments in more than 15 countries.
