CEMED is a Guinean cabinet of consultants working in the fields of environment and development. Its mission is to support proponents of integrating environmental concerns into the design and implementation of projects in order to strengthen the capacity of public, private and community structures. Its services are oriented towards the analysis and resolution of regional environmental and social issues.
CEMED’s environmental services contribute to improving the social and environmental component of these clients’ projects from a sustainable development perspective. CEMED carries out these environmental services in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Guinea and policies of its clients' technical and financial partners (e.g. World Bank, French Development Agency).
State-of-the-art methods and tools such as geographic information systems, decision support methods and multi-criteria analysis are among its preferred approaches.
The CEMED places a great importance on the quality of processes and results. It has a management structure and a project management system that ensure that its clients receive services of high professional quality. This system covers all stages of a project, including:
- Recruitment and allocation of appropriate resources;
- The preparation of project planning;
- Development and dissemination of methodological and management tools;
- Monitoring the mandate and relationships with the client;
- Quality control of reports;
- End of Term Evaluation.
CEMED also conducts environmental, social development and gender training. Specifically, it offers:
- Development of training modules related to forestry and climate change
- Training related to carbon market and payments for environmental services
- Training in integrated climate risk and vulnerability assessment
- Social development and gender training
- Development of training modules in environmental and social assessment
- Training in sustainable development and multilateral environmental agreements
- Training in environmental and social impact assessment of development projects
- Training in follow-up to implementation of environmental and social management plans
- Training in ecological monitoring of primates
- Training in ecological monitoring of watercourses
- Electronic data collection training and
- Environmental project management training.

You provided a performance improvement service that includes training, coaching, instructional design or similar, and have a commendation letter from a client testifying to the excellence of service provided.
