Webinar 63: How Learning and Development Can Tell Stories that Drive Executive Buy-In
This webinar is scheduled for November 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. EST/3 p.m. GMT.
Getting executive buy-in for learning initiatives requires more than presenting training plans, participation numbers, or completion rates. L&D professionals need to communicate their work in ways that capture attention, demonstrate value, and connect learning to what matters most to the organization.
This webinar explores how storytelling can be a powerful strategic tool for influencing decision-makers and strengthening the business case for learning. Participants will explore how to turn learning data, outcomes, and experiences into compelling narratives that resonate with executives and stakeholders.
The session will provide practical approaches for crafting and delivering stories that clearly communicate the value of L&D, demonstrate its contribution to business priorities, and position learning as a strategic driver of organizational performance.
Participants will explore how to:
- List strategies for drafting compelling stories that connect learning initiatives to business priorities.
- Explain how to use data and evidence to strengthen the L&D story.
- Identify how to communicate learning impact in a way that resonates with executives.
- Explore activities for telling stories of value and impact.
- Define how to position L&D as a strategic partner in organizational success.
