What is IFC Training of Trainers (ToT)

The IFC ‘Training of Trainers’ workshop will enable you to prepare: how to transfer knowledge and skills effectively; how to influence attitude positively and how to accelerate learning at workplace successfully. It expands the concepts introduced in the Foundations of Learning and shows how to turn lectures into interactive training experiences that maximize participants’ attention and accelerate learning. The program is based on the IFC’s Facilitating Face-to-Face Learning (FFF) course.

Purpose

The purpose is to develop your capability and performance to deliver powerful learning experiences and become internal change agents.

• Learning needs assessments
• Accelerated learning principles (ALPs)
• Learning styles and preferences
• The learning environment
• The four phases of the learning cycle
• IFC - LPI Trainer Performance Monitoring and Assessment (TPMA) evaluation criteria
• Activities that maximize attention, replacing lectures with interactive content, and reviewing content
• Questioning techniques
• A model for giving constructive feedback
• Managing disruptive learner behaviors
• Handling objections
• And many more!

What are the prerequisites for participating in the program?

You must complete the Foundations of Learning and Finding Your Path for Facilitation courses. The master trainer will explain these and other requirements during the information session.

Will I receive a certificate at the end of the course?

Yes, participants will receive the certificate of completion of the IFC "Training of Trainers" course provided that they:

• complete the prerequisite Foundations of Learning course
• attend all 4-day sessions

Can I get certified at the end of the program?

Yes, the IFC-LPI TPMA assessment will be offered at the end of the program.

What is included in the attendance fee?

The attendance fee of US$ 700 (US$ 600 for early birds) only covers the cost of participation. There is an additional charge of US$ 300 for the IFC-LPI TPMA assessment and certification.
