SOFIHDES is a private development finance corporation, founded in March 1983, with the primary objective of contributing to economic development of Haiti, through the investments in productive sectors such as: industry, agribusiness, tourism, communication, transportation, construction, technologies, handicraft, etc.

SOFIHDES states its mission as being able to «contribute to the economic development of Haiti, by profitably investing money and knowledge in viable SMEs showing a strong potential for growth».

Our vision is to become a checkpoint for entrepreneurs, a partner with high added value for companies at all stages of development.

In 2009, it inaugurated a Continuing Training Center in Management which has been strengthened to become its Department of Non-Financial Services (DSNF).

The Non-Financial Services Department (DSNF) of SOFIHDES supports entrepreneurs and executives. It provides them with not only training adapted to their reality, but also, consulting services and accounting tools to enable them to strengthen their managerial capacities and better manage their financial and accounting activities.
